To all of my MOONING friends.
I saw this on Sky and Telescope.
I also have the same issue that you have.
We are getting a strong cold front through today and expect clouds this afternoon through Tuesday into Wednesday with a chance of RAIN.. Woohoo.. not just clouds this time maybe..
Maybe on the West coast if the FOG stays away..
Like the hooker said, if its not one thing its another.

I get turned away...
Last night when I went out to gather in my telescope and laptop, it was so bright I could only see the very brightest stars, and damned few of those.
But I got a lot of takes on Jim H's Bodes Nebula lead.
Aiming North seems to work good for me.
Let's my small telescope, run in small circles, and my small brain likes that.
Slight overcast here too, just enough to disrupt the viewing + a full Moon.
Sonny and I should have some clear skies Wed-Thur nights.
And the Moon will wait till 8:00 and 9:00 to rise.

I'm in a depressed state, no chance to get back out until the weekend. Hopefully it'll clear as I go live.
Same here! I am wondering if there is a "cloudy skies" group that meets in Spartanburg for recovering astro-imagers. Oh well, twiddly do, twiddly dee, twiddly do.....
This is a slow period for me "photographically speaking" Basketball has come to an end.....in two weeks, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Golf, Track and Field, and Soccer will be in full swing and my nights to "shoot up" will be far and few.
If you look up "Bummer" in Wikipedia .....you will see a picture of me, looking through my kit at overcast rain drizzle skies.
