So my camera use for the last few months have pretty much been limited to wrestling and swimming. Tough conditions for getting shots without unwanted blur. I have gotten a few good ones. Would love to see what you guys have and if you don't mind, could you give your settings and even the lens you used.
a good and challenging challenge mom. For the last couple of months, when I have been home, I have been busy photographing basketball games. My grand daughters and 3 boys who are seniors that I want to make books for. Will post some tomorrow. What a difference as we travel from school to school as to whether the lighting is good or bad...makes all the difference in the world!
You're right plessner and some of the gyms wrestle with only a spot light above the mat and the rest of the lights off. With a dark mat as well makes it very hard.

Thanks for hosting, Mom! Will get back tomorrow...Sleepy time for me! ;)
Off to bed myself. See you guys tomorrow.
Will see what I have. Mine will most likely be kids on a sled. Indoor sport shots are hard.

A few from this week. I primarily shoot sports and action. You really have to keep the shutter speed at around 1/1000 and raise you ISO to accommodate the shutter speed. A fast lens is a must and a camera body that has a high native ISO. The two basketball shots were at 1/640 f 2.8 at 300mm. The football shot from today was at 1/1000 at f 4 at 200mm with a Topaz filter in post process.
Hi, I don't do much sports but this is all I have.

I love to see your rodeo shots Clicker. These look great! Thanks for posting your settings. Forgive my ignorance but what does the +2 and 2.7 mean?
