"The Chicken,Me and God"
When I was 5 years old I through a rock and struck my mother's
favorite laying hen in the back of her head, whereupon the chicken
keeled over (dead).I got down on my trembling knees and uttered the most sincere prayer ever. The old hen suddenly shook her head, stood up and strode away,my prayer answered.Never threw any more rocks!

Yessir, that would keep me from throwing rocks AND on my knees!
God answers prayers but you have to believe. He also doesn't always gives you what you want but what you need. Never fails !!!! Been there many times in the last seventy four years. If you aren't answered immediately, He sustains you in your need. Have faith. Love God as He first loved you - now and forever. Your blessings will multiply. Recognize them and don't keep looking on the other side of the fence.

god will save a chicken but ignores tens of millions of starving, diseased and crippled children. That makes sense to me!
if you cant feed them then stop breeding ..i would think after a few generations they would catch on ..i dont have more kids then i can afford

How about you ? Have you prayed for any of those thousands of poor children ? I do and I believe He helps.

Who would I pray to? Whoever you're praying to doesn't seem to be too effective, does it.

A god who ignores starving children is the god of people who strap explosives on their children not God who persuades his disciples to feed and care for those children.

Well, the god doing the persuading is not very persuasive is he. Doesn't seem to be able to get the job done.

Have you ever thought that it is Satan rather than God who does the damage in the world? Everyone seems to blame God for everything bad in the world when quite possibly it is not Him who causes the harm. Just a thought to ponder.

You guys are too much. Where do you come up with these ideas. Who else can you blame to assuage your fears? The Boogie Man, Goblins, Mothra?

Not enough time to enter the fray but you might consider the folowing:
Hebrews 9:27King James Version (KJV)
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
Lacking any known exceptions this seems to be pretty inclusive.
I am a Christian and my God answers my prayers. He does not always give me what I want but what I need to sustain myself in this temporal life. As much as I pray, I cannot resolve the many issues in this increasingly broken world. It is not what
God intended but what man has made it. It needs the collective prayers of all of us and His first love for us to be mirrored by all of us for things to get better.
Believing is half the battle - it takes two halves to make a whole.
