Okay, I need a little help so I don't totally mess things up. I had a PC with Windows 7 on it, and Lightroom5. I now have a newer PC with Win10, and decided to download Creative Cloud. At the moment, I have copied all my images from my old PC (Along with the Side Car Files) back into my new "Pictures Directory". The problem is, I have LOTS of backup catalogs, and some that say "Lightroom5 Catalog" I'm not sure what to do at this point. I don't want to import them all into the new Lightroom, or do I?

HELP, I'd rather not lose my edits, but I'm not sure of the procedure to return things to what I had on the old PC.

When you open your existing Lr5 catalog in LrCC, it'll ask you to upgrade the catalog. It will then create a new catalog. You do not need to import your backup catalogs.

Thanks to you and DGStinner, its back to what it was. Whewwww, I was worried initially. I even deleted some of my old backups and created a new backup for the Catalogs on a different drive.

Everything is good again. Thanks for your help.
