Theft by the infamous peoples like boy band druggies is OK just not for the little people but the photographer should have signed or water marked that picture before putting it anywhere in public view. Kind of a double edged sword.
Well, it was eventually taken off line meaning it is not a permanent fixture. How many times have you heard when rock stars get miffed over politicians using their songs as a campaign theme. I am not a lawyer, but what's yours is yours and vise versa. If you want to use what I made, get permission, and have a check to follow. Like Dolly Parton said. If you want to record my songs under my name, call me and send a big fat pay check.

They defend the indefensible. A lot in common with Hillary supporters.

I certainly don't support Hilary but isn't this being a little off the wall. It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with a persons right and ownership.

Never heard of them.

A modicum of success seems to bestow a sense of privilege. Because a bunch of people like this "Star" entitles him to do what he wants, in his opinion.
I'm on the side of the photographer, in this case. He owns the picture regardless of whether he watermarks it or not.
This "star's" fans are no better than he his.

I agree.
The singer's "fans" probably don't understand copyright, but the "star" should. He wouldn't want a song he wrote to be used without attribution or royalties being paid.
