Very cute video about trash in Lille, France.

A ... when our playgrounds ... and perhaps our streets?
A nice story filmed in Lille! It leaves a cup into the street and wait for someone picks it up and throws it into a nearby trash can, but look what happens next!

Not bad, Bert! A 1:58 video that doesn't require any linguistic ability to understand it. Wouldn't it be nice if we all get such a plaudit just once for picking up litter? Evidently, the Canadians do it all the time w/o any praise.

I'd be happy for a nod or a thank you for holding the door for a woman.

In a small town near me there is a slightly retarded man who spends most of his time collecting Cans for his living as well as cleaning up the town of any trash he can find.... Just recently the town Purchased a large Garage, converted it to a home and built a small attached shed with a Can Squashing piece of equipment in it.... All this at no cost to the Gentleman because of the appreciation for what he had done for years for the town..

Nice. A lot of places in the U.S. and all of Mexico could use that.

I recall many years ago driving to Fundy Bay to camp there and we all marveled at how clean Canada was and how beautiful the flowers were every where you went. Even people who obviously didn't have a lot of money, judging by the age of the single-wides they lived in, kept their lawns and flowers just perfect.
