Here's an example of how and why a mass-murdering Islamic jihadist wannabe picked the place where he was planning to perpetrate his terrorist attack. Fortunately, he never got to carry it out because the FBI was watching him, but what if they weren't?
We just avoided another San Bernardino / Paris style mass shooting, another pile of dead bodies on which Obama and the Democrat-Fascists gun hating roaches will climb and use as a soap box to push for even more anti-2nd Amendment laws.
Read the except of the article and pay attention at the end (in bold) where the ISIS jihadi wannabe reveals why he picked up that particular target:

Its easy, and a lot of people go there. Plus people are not allowed to carry guns in church. Plus it would make the news. Everybody wouldve heard. Honestly, I regret not doing it. If I cant do jihad in the Middle East, I would do my jihad over here.

Every time a mass shooting happens in a so-called "gun-free zone" the gun hating activists who put the "No Guns Allowed" sign on the door of the place where the attack happened have the blood of the innocent victims on their hands. It's as simple as that.
Being a Democrat in the Age of Obama requires you to believe cops kill black kids on purpose but radical Islamists kill Jews by accident.

This article is a copy of a copy so I couldn't be sure about it's authenticity; I copied and pasted the link provided and it did lead to a legitimate Detroit website, and it's also very recent. After reading the story in the original website, I found that the original popster didn't get quite all of this story copied; in the original story, the perp actually told the under-cover officer he was talking to on the internet, that he also bought a "big knife", and that when he made his attack, he was hoping to "shoot a lot of people first, then he was planning to use his "big knife" to "be-head" as many people as possible"; he then told the officer, "I have always dreamed about be-heading people".
While I basically agree with much of what the original poster said at the top of the the article, I do differ slightly in my opinion relative to the businesses and other places that normally place "No Guns Allowed" signs at their entrances. I certainly do agree that in all cases it's been proven over & over repeatedly that the ONLY people who ever honor such signs are always law-abiding citizens, and almost always law-abiding citizens who have concealed carry permits, and are partly motivated simply by NOT wishing to run the risk of being arrested for having a firearm in an establishment that has one of these ludicrous signs posted; the far stronger motivation of ALL legally permitted gun owners is, they are ALL very concerned with violating any "rule" or "law" that will get their CC permit revoked. (It's a lot easier to lose a CC permit than it is to qualify for one in the first place ), and it's VERY difficult to get one's permit back once it has been "revoked for cause". )
Even though the people either owning or operating a public establishment and who post such a sign adjacent to the entrance are totally "mis-advised", and who may as well post a sign saying, "to any criminals carrying a weapon.....your's will be the only one here, so if it's your intention to shoot bunch of people, this is a nice safe place to do it", they are (in many cases), merely attempting to "please" and to "not wish to frighten" any of their timid, little old lady customers; (you can't begrudge business owners who are merely trying to please as many people as possible in order to do more business. ) We all see how well that works almost daily in the drive-by-media when large numbers get murdered by armed criminals, (many of whom are "nuts".)
Obviously, you would think anyone with an IQ equal to an ant would be able to figure that out, but I can assure you, very few liberals HAVE an IQ comparable to an ant; as a matter of fact, if you question liberals about their "feelings" (as in "feeeeeeeelings" ), most would have you believe that "guns jump out of drawers, gun-safes, glove boxes, an people's holsters and MURDER "innocent people"!!!!! I will go so far as say, (inasmuch as I'm quite sure will be spouting nonsense shortly after I post this )....that the VERY first time I become aware of a documented case of a "gun" murdering someone like this, I will immediately whip out my "SUPER-SOAKER", give that nasty "gun" a shot of "super-soaker-suds", grab it by it's "grip", and immediately turn it over to the BATFE! (And THEY know exactly what to do with with murderous "guns" after that!!!!! )
My next prediction is, before I arise from my slumber in the AM, I'm guessing that our resident troll and imbecile, (Twurdlow ) will show-up and attempt to convince everyone reading this that I'm a mass murderer, that I run over puppies and beat-up on 12 year old girl scouts and send hate letters to The Pope!
