it is a brown thrasher which is the state bird of Georgia. he feeds mostly on the ground ...thrashes his beak into the soil looking for yummy juicy bugs to eat...whenever I see this pretty bird he usually has forgotten to use his napkin. :D oh, the nest is usually on the ground in thorny thick shrubs. thanks for looking and commenting linda! :-D

i'm glad you like them tejaswrangler...thank you for you comment and the thumbup! it is a warbler, but I'm not sure if it's a yellow warbler or a pine warbler. their pictures look similar to me.

the bird with the muddy nose is a brown thrasher...the state bird of Georgia. he gets his nose dirty by thrashing it into the ground looking for fat juicy bugs to eat. i'm glad you enjoyed them angela...thanks for your nice comment and the thumbups! :-D
