I just saw this online today and thought maybe it could be useful....or maybe I am just wanting to accumulate too many editing programs.

Interesting and for $30.00 may be worth a try. Have you downloaded the free trial and given it a whirl?

This looks too good to be true!

I tried the download and it is for 64 bit systems. I have a support request in for a 32 bit version.

Time to upgrade! At least it's decent excuse.

At times, I am obsessed with trying new free or cheap programs. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they aren't worth the time. I saw this post and went to the site. I downloaded the trial version and was pleasantly surprised. The selection tool is a bit tricky and would be better if you could adjust the tolerance. Otherwise, it is a pretty cute program for the price. Works a lot smoother and neater than some higher priced programs. You select zones and adjust each one individually. Lots of adjustments that work pretty well. I think it is useful for some situations and am seriously thinking about buying it. It is not a replacement for any of the big boy programs, but would certainly be useful for anyone beginning to get into post processing. Very easy to use and has a lot of potential for improvement. Hope this helps and have a GREAT DAY!

Hi everyone,
I'm Tony, I'm a director at Anthropics and one of the main developers of LandscapePro. Hope you don't mind me dropping in. As you may have guessed, we launched LandscapePro just this week, so we're really interested in any feedback you have, especially where you think it could be improved and what important features you think are missing.

Incidentally, you asked about adjusting the tolerance of the pull tool. It responds to how fast you move your mouse, so quick movements expand the selection a lot, and slower careful movements make smaller changes. One of the things we plan to do is try and tweak this and make it more obvious to people (although we find some people do it instinctively).

Re: 32 bit version: There is a 32 bit windows version, but 32 bit Macs are not supported. We will be updating the download page soon, but in the meantime here is a link to version 1.0.32 http://cloudfront.portraitprofessional.com/LandscapePro/1.0.32/LandscapeProTrialSetup.exe

Also, if you haven't watched them already, do take a look at the tutorials on the site: http://www.landscapepro.pics/tutorials/. We've tried to make them give you as much information as possible as quickly as possible.

Thanks for noticing us!

Tony

I checked out the site, but couldn't find any details about the 'meat' of the program... Is this purely stand-alone, or can it be used as a plug-in for LightRoom or Photoshop? Does it handle raw files, or only jpeg? This is the sort of information I suspect most users on here would be asking about...

Currently (as of Feb 2016) the software supports jpg and tiff files and works as a standalone program. We are very likely to be adding support for RAW and working as a plugin in the future.

Ok, thanks for the info. Handling TIFF makes it a much more enticing prospect. Working as a plugin will definitely increase its popularity!

Thank you for your response. I liked the program right from the start with all the available adjustments. You really can do some great things to photos with Landscapepro. I personally, would really like to see a version for Linux since I am also an avid Linux user running LinuxMint 17.3. I love my Linux machine, but there are not a lot of good easy to learn programs available for post-processing in Linux. I am 90 percent sure I will purchase Landscapepro and try to give you some constructive feedback. I believe Landscapepro to have a lot of potential. Have a GREAT DAY!

Is MAC supported and if so what ones? I have an OSX Maverick 10.9.4. MacBook Pro. Is it supported? I would like to download Landscape Pro.

All modern Macs are supported. If you have a very old mac and want to see if it works without purchasing, just download the trial. All MacBook Pros are supported except the early 2006 model which was 32 bit.

For up to date requirements, see here: http://www.landscapepro.pics/support/?qid=4

You can't ever have enough editing programs..LOL!!! I just purchased LandscapePro. I am kind of disappointed that it costs more to have this as a photoshop plugin :( But, this program is pretty great. I do have several questions about it and that's how I found this forum. The tutorials, although seem simple enough, but just don't get real deep into different things it can do. And like someone said...there is no precision point (well, I can't tell how big the circle is because my program only uses a hand), but still if I go slow, it usually erases what I don't want it to. But again, I may be missing something so that's why I was looking for more clear answers. All in all, I really love this software. I've made some awesome photos with it...instructions just need to be more clear.
