This guy, Alphonse Desjardins started a bank movement back in the real early 1900's which is now prédominent here in Québec. His house was built in 1882 over in the next town and today they had a doors open thing in the afternoon. He was not there but his statue and much of the furniture of the times is still there

Just want to take a moment to post Feb.'s Challenge Calendar again for those that are new to our thread. If anyone is interested in hosting a challenge please P.M. me and I will explain what is involved. The main thing to know is that it is easy to host a challenge! Give it a go. Just need to select ad 3 day slot Mon.-Wed. or Thurs.- Sat. and pick a subject!
