I was sitting out side on my patio when I noticed this little guy/gal scampering across my fire pit. my son said it's a wolf spider.

I only click on spiders to see if sarge69 has tortured himself again or i wouldnt click on them either.
I'm not sure thats a wolf. Wolf spiders are pretty hairy.
This looks like a jumping spider.

Those spiders are very much aware of what people are saying about them.

I am not an expert on spiders but I have seen lots of wolf spiders in NC. They are big but not as big as the wood spiders you find in the restrooms in camping areas. Fear not; just big happy it is not a black widow. Actually those are photogenic.
