It is an endless chase, I decided to stop at FZ200 unless something really NEW came up. Spend that kind of money for just a little improvement is not worth. I started Penny FZ1, to FZ7, FZ10, FZ15, FZ20, FZ30, FZ150.....than FZ200. Sold it on eBay for a FZ300 (returned), luckily got a FZ200 back at good price. Better stay with it.
A Nikon D3300 + 14-140 Lens cost similar with FZ300, but a totally different animal.
