.... just before. $750! Done deal. To replace my D90. Will have a D90 body and some stuff up for sale.
That was the deal I was waiting for. it was mentioned on NikonRumors and as soon as it came in my inbox i jumped on it.
I suspect that they wont last long! I ordered the two year repair/replacement warranty for $25 also.
Now i have to figure what SD cards to get. Now i can buckle down and plan my glass purchases.

Congratulations on your purchase.
It is a big step up from the D90, but I'm sure you will be happy with it.

It shouldn't take long to get to Ct. Congratulations!

congrats, try sandisk 32gb. with two slots that will give you plenty of room and two 32gb are sometimes cheaper than 1 64gb, supply and demand???
I moved from the D90 to the 7200.. Both are great cameras but I really like the 7200. They have the same "feel" to them so you will feel right at home.

Adorama has SanDisk Extreme PRO SDHC/SDXC UHS-II Memory Card 32gb for $74 each.
Perhaps overkill but i want to invest in the best.

There is no overkill to investing in the best you can get

there is a site, cameramemoryspeed.com that tested the D7200 and their fastest result with a Sandisk is a:
SanDisk Extreme PRO SDSDXPA-064G-X46 SDXC Flash Memory Card with up to 95MB/s 64gb for $44 each
so i guess i will spring for two of those.

it appears that the 280mb version may not give any more speed in that camera, and its about 2x as much.

remember you are not supposed to store your photos on your card, unless you are taking thousands of pics per shoot the 128 may be overkill and the 280 is just a waste.
