Beautiful Akita!!! Years ago I had 4 Akitas, 2 Malamutes and a Chow. They are all gone and greatly missed. Today I have a Golden Retriever mix that I adopted from the local pound. I love him to death but he is no Akita.
Please give that beautiful baby hugs and kisses from me!!!

I rescued her from a shelter a year and a half ago. She was 2 in October.
She is a very sweet girl.
Welcome to UHH. Nice images. Your camera is being fooled by the brightness of the snow is causing the camera exposure system to close down and make the snow look gray. You need to over ride snow images by increasing exposure from 1 to 2 stops.

She was out running g around so I only had a few minutes to get any shots. I didn't think about the snow brightness.
