Lucky Birding Day

I found these three birds very close together over only a very short time frame. A swampy area off a scary creek in Murrells Inlet, SC. The creeper is only the third time I've seen one and not in the last few years.

Nice shots! I've been hoping for a Brown Creeper ever since I started doing bird photography, so far no luck :(

Excellent shot of the Brown Creeper. They are for sure the hardest bird to get a good, decent picture of.

What great shots Robert! I love how you captured the BgG just hanging off that twig looking for a meal. I also like the detail you captured with the BC. Being stuck up here in PA with 2 to 3 feet of melting snow, your birding pics makes me want to pack my bags and go birding where is much nicer. Come on Spring!!!!

Thanks for all the kind comments Birder52! Hope you get some warm weather to melt all that snow. Not even a dusting here and 56° right now.

I agree with you. You just have to be lucky in getting one to catch your eye with how well they blend in with the bark of the tree & that's why it's so hard to get a good shot 'cause then once you have to take your eye off to look through then lens of the camera you loose the bird so easy. I think it was last week or the week before I was upstairs here in my bedroom and just happened to have one catch my eye on one of the front fir trees. I just looked at the bird journal. It will be a week ago on Friday. The yard was pretty "dead" today. Must have been a Hawk around.
