We hardly see a women in Iran with predetermined and so ascetic believes covering her face, like some do in Islamic countries. In spite of the compulsions done by our clergies that women should observe the Islamic lows in public. However I found it nice to ask my fried to act like this for a moment.

Do you mean appear to be a woman with her own sense of expression? Please explain why your brothers want their women to look like a display of tents at a sporting goods store?

farrokh, you managed to capture a great deal of expression here. There is a tenderness and beauty that far surpasses the veil.

I realize that it is difficult for those of us not of the Muslim faith to understand some religious imposed practices. At the same time, there are those of us who can appreciate the differences between us. Let's keep those differences peaceful.

Beautiful portrait.

I think he was saying that Iranian women do not typically cover their faces, and therefore he had to ask his friend to "act" like this. I could be wrong.

In any event, it is a beautiful picture of a woman with very expressive eyes. Well done.

May I ask to read the related history that why women are treated like this mostly in some Arabic countries. This is a culture elaborated throughout the history and people use to it. But here,it is imposed culture mixed with politics.

I like the image. Tad out of focus. It does display a certain gentleness.

As for the cover up. Certainly, every culture has their right to do what they want. But it is interesting that the 'men' demand the woman cover up. So, so much for expressing freedom. Second, my biggest dilemma, do you go to a museum of art and throw blankets over the pictures hanging on the wall. The middle east women are beautiful. Why cover that up?

Absolutely, I myself never, never demand a woman to cover her face because of a mere belief, never asked even my wife nor my beloved daughters to do so. Please do not be misunderstood . This is just, and only just a moment I found this pose nice, that's all and nothing else. I myself also have a great respect to all nations traditions and strongly believe that it is up to people how they want to choose the way of their life.=nd
