Your colored ones are excellant... The b/w ones seem to be a little washed out... Try putting in a lil more contrast to them...

All and all, I like what you did here. The flag background, coupled with the bench is great and good thinking. . .and in Texas you can't go wrong with the flag.

Your young lady certainly has a thing for that jeans jacket! Wearing it in every photo. Maybe it was cold that day in Rockport?

Not too sure what was the idea with the black & white? I do have a couple of suggestions that you might find helpful. The image where she is with all of the colorful garage doors, you might want to rotate the image a few degrees counter-clockwise in order to get the building straight. Also, one of those collapsible large round reflectors would be a plum handy thing to use with these kinds of images (silver/white on one side and gold on the other side). Would have been real handy for the pier and thatched beach umbrella image.

How long has you lived in Rockport? One of my oldest friends and his wife live in Rockport (have known then since 1964).

For these kinds of outdoor shots, a reflector as described can be used to "fill" light onto the face. Generally looks more natural than flash, and easier to use. You can instantly see the effect. Generally need an assistant to handle the reflector as you shoot. I never leave home without mine!

My friends in Rockport are Tommy and Nancy Tiltgen. Great people. Originally from El Campo; however, they have lived in Rockport for many years.

There are no written rules about posting a lot of pics.
I would suggest to you or to anyone else not to post over 3 unless they are very different and extremely interesting.
