St Regis, Puerto Vallarta, is warmer than Utah!

The St Regis Resort, located about 35 miles outside of Puerto Vallarta is intimate, with only 140 rooms scattered around hundreds of acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. December in Utah was snowy, with days of bitter cold. We decided to exercise some Starwood award points that we've been accumulating to gain a free week at this beautiful Resort. When we left home the temps hovered around 0*f. The afternoon that we arrived temps were in the low 80s! The points were well-spent! I know much of the U.S. is in the throes of winter; so Im posting some picts from this warm clime to tempt you to visit
its only a 2 ½ hour flight from Phoenix! It reaffirmed that there are locations where flowers bloom and leaves are green!

Falconer...she flies a Harris Hawk to scare away birds who land and steal food from the outdoor dining areas...it works!

Beautiful spot!! And some great shots. I almost feel warm.:):) I hope you don't get sunburned tho.:) We are at 40 here to day and tomorrow we are going down into the teens and lower! I hope that makes you smile!:):)

I smile. But I too am back in winter weather. Snowed today with more tomorrow. The bad thing about vacations is that they eventually end.

LOL!! Welcome back!:) It doesn't seem fair does it! Work goes so slow and vacations just fly by. It is sad when you wish you could be mowing grass isn't it?:):):)
