My wife and I just arrived for our second winter stay in Arizona (Scottsdale). Last winter we pretty much hit what I believed were the highlights and will certainly return to some of them this year. I would appreciate any suggestions for additional sites from hogs who are more familiar with the state than I. Here are the places we visited last year: Sedona, Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon upper and lower, Botanical Gardens, Sonoran Desert Museum, Monument Valley, Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Canyon De Chelly, Apache Trail. Because of my wife's mobility issues we are unable to do any real hiking.
My main interest is landscapes. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Prescott offers interesting landscapes and a charming downtown.
Tucson, AZ and the Mission San Xavier del Bac (known as "The White Dove of the Desert" )
Thank you. Sounds interesting.

We've driven by both of those but didn't investigate. Will put them on my list. Thanks!

We've driven through the area, but haven't stopped. Will take another look at Prescott. Thank you.

Agree with Boyce-Thompson and Tucson including mission south of Tucson. Would also suggest some of the various festival that occur in February or , Renaissance Festival in
Gold Canyon area, Phoenix Zoo. These are not landscape opportunities but interesting photo opportunities as is the Native American progran called Native Trails if you have not seen it held in Scottsdale Civic Center. Also, Oak Canyon and Sedona and depending on how the spring wildflower
season developes Picaco Peak State Park.

Thank you. There's currently a jazz festival in Tucson that would work well into a visit.

I too was going to suggest Prescott and Wattson Lake a few miles north of town. Go on a calm day for wonderful reflections
The territorial prison at Yuma, The old Quartermaster Depot in Yuma, Old Tucson Studios, Heard Museum(Phoenix), The International Hall of Flame( I love old fire apparatus) (Phoenix) Penske racing Museum(Scottsdale); Franklin Auto Museum(Tucson); the burros up at Oatman, AZ; The stretch of old route 66 from Kingman east to Hackberry, Valentine, Peach Springs, Seligman, and back to I 40 at Ash Fork, AZ.
