Anybody used "Photo Maximiser"?

Just had an email about this program. It claims to be able to enlarge photos up to 1000%. Me being somewhat of a skeptic, thinks *really??? Hmmm..."

Seems like it would have to be a heck of a clever program to do that without losing image quality. Just wondered if anyone on here has played with it at all?

I haven't used that particular program. Year back I used Genuine Fractals, which today is called Perfect Resize, and sold by on1 software.

I made some very large prints with a Nikon D1x and its 5 mph sensor.

So, while I don't know the specific software you reference, I do know it is possible. If they offer a free trial, take advantage. If not, I think on1 offers a trial on their product s.

Don't know that one, but many years ago I saw a 4 x 5 FOOT image in a Nikon booth that was made from a 6 mpx camera. They had some very amazing software but the result was spectacular.

I have used Genuine Fractals (now Perfect Resize) and have done 30x40s from cropped 24mpx images. So I don't know what magic is in your software, but it's probably worth trying.

I went into that search and several sites generated warnings from my malware software.

Thanks for the link. That is quite interesting. It isn't something I have thought about doing before, but they sent me an ad for their program. Probably not going to spend money on it...

Bloke, here is the link Classic 5 software for $20.
https://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/pin/fremd032/partner-software/PhotoZoom-Classic-5

In the reference UHH that I created there is a basis for my recommendation:

http://ronbigelow.com/articles/interpolation/interpolation.htm

you will see that classic 5 is excellent but second to the very expensive one... you will never know tho... the difference is marginal.
