Thank you very much, Mike. I am keeping my Tamron even though I now have the Canon 100-400 II. They are comparable.

As usual Regis, wonderful shots. Maybe one day I will be able to produce shots like yours with my Tamron 150 - 600.

Yesterday I took this Bald Eagle waiting to catch a fish, however the salmon are gone. I used 600mm and they were hand held shots.
The sky was sunny.

if I could get shots like these I don't know if I could force myself to leave the site...i'd probably camp out for a few days and shoot and shoot and shoot!

Tremendous Regis! The colors are so rich and vibrant. Beautiful sky and beautiful detail in the Eagle. Once again you can see the power in the talons. Fine job.

Great shots! The weekend of January 16 and 17 is Eagle Days north of St. Louis. May go. I have a Canon 60D and a Sigma 150-600 C lens.

Nice shots Regis - I like the composition of #1 with the pine needles and cones as well as the way it is perched. One is always at the mercy of how they land and perch so it is always nice when they cooperate :) I hate to see it come to an end but on to the Osprey in a few months!

I thank you very much, Sirius one. I'm not the best, so I try harder. I can not compete with the photographers who use a $10,000 to $20,000 prime telephoto lens.
