I've been trying different lighting on what I think is a difficult subject, a range of color from white to black. The blacks are still not as good as I would like. I put in a scale bar to show how small each scale really is. Total of 60 frames taken @ .011 mm steps. Stacked in Zerene using PMax. Enjoy the download.

I like!
My one suggestion is to post with scales sloping down, rather than up, more like shingles on a roof.

Really glad you like it that much. Thanks for the suggestion for the 180 flip. I looked at it upside down for so long that when I flipped it, it looked funny to me. After being away from it for a while & reading your post, I revisited PSE and it looked great flipped. I just needed some time away from the monitor. Thanks again.

Good move on the scale bar, I love seeing stuff that close (well done on these), the wife won't let me spring for a used dissecting scope set-up, yet. She just redid the living room. Pretty sweet opening she left me. :D

Thanks, Bob. Yeah, sounds like ya got a pretty good opening. If ya play it right, you'll be looking for the big brown truck before ya know it.
