Fossils today...

These are a few of the fossils which have crept into my collection. Actually, to be honest, my very first item was a fossil, so it's really the minerals which have crept in!

The spider in amber is not terribly clear, but it shows up reasonably in the second shot.

The trilobite stack is only a few shots, since I took it 'face on', rather than sloping away. The stack does help give it a more 3D appearance... I actually had to go back into LR to make sure that I didn't have these mixed up, but this is correct. There are actually 4 shots in the stack, while the ammonite is a stack of 8 images.

The amber and the trilobite almost certainly qualify as true macro, but not the ammonite.
