Here are a couple of views of one of my meteorites. This one is an 'unclassified' (not sure what that means!) chondrite found somewhere in North-West Africa. You can see some of the chondrules (little circles...) which make it a chondrite if you look closely. There is a good one on the flat top surface of the second set of images.
The other is my set of titanium crystals. This was very hard to stack (I do it manually) because they go in all sorts of directions. It was not possible to just slide through the process in slices. It looks a bit 'fuzzy' (technical term...) in places, but then so does the non-stacked version! This one is probably macro, rather than close-up. The description I had was 'Natural titanium druzy crystals'. I see the term druzy quite a bit, but really have no idea just what it means...

You do really well with your stacking, Phil. It's obvious to me by the downloads. Beautiful specimens and excellent shots.

Thank you. I get pretty good results with objects which are fairly 'solid' like the meteorites. It is difficult to move back through these weird crystals, though. As you move back through the object, the focus could be coming towards you, or away, or pretty much any direction.
Not sure what I have for tomorrow...
Later,
Good set, I like the crystals...
