This little guy loves to flit around in our bushes but today he is on the grass.
Making photographing much simpler. I shot him at different settings.
#1 1/30 sec, F/8.0, 450mm, ISO 200.
#'s 2 & 3 1/40 sec, f/8.0, 450mm, ISO 200
#4 1/500 sec, f/8.0, 450mm ISO 3200

That's a Thompson Warbler by the way, great markings on the bird. It has a really good looking mask. Nice shots Craig

Thank you very much CatFish.
He is in our yard most of the day and a pleasure to watch.
I need to get more shots of him now I've got my AF-C worked out.

Very interesting markings. Thanks for sharing it with us. Cheers.

Thank you very much Sue. Townsend's warbler.
A bird of the Pacific Northwest, the Townsend's Warbler nests in coniferous forests from Alaska to Oregon. It winters in two distinct areas: in a narrow strip along the Pacific Coast, and in Mexico and Central America.

Thank you for IDing the bird. It's helpful for those of us in country who never see a particular bird and are interested in birding.
