Here are some shots taken in my Light Tent.

Shot 1: Pentax K10d, 50mm, f16, 1sec, ISO-100

Shot 2: Pentax K10d, 55mm, f19, 1 sec, ISO-100

Shot 3: Pentax K10d, 38mm, f32, 3sec, ISO-100

I had some questions as to how much light came through the sheet. Camera tripod mounted, no flash.

I have many of these knickknacks to photograph.

have you thought about getting a piece of plexiglass to use as a base? If you had a light underneath you could get rid of the shadow.
