Nikon just announced the DX flagship we have waited for. It is a masterpiece, absolutely it is a Mini D5. It has so many new features -- it is incredible. It is up on the Nikon USA website already.

So much for the hype from some that the DX format is dying.... That said, I can't afford it. I was waiting on a D400 to replace my D300 several years back. Settled on a D7100... this is still about $800 more than what I paid for my D7100 body new....

Don't be an early adopter. Wait for bugs to get worked out and the price to drop a little. just my .02

You are right, I always wait for the price to drop, but I am not so worried about the bugs. After the D600 spots I know Nikon will fix the bugs that may submerge, be it hardware or firmware bugs.
