It's hard to keep coming up with titles for these!
The trilobites were part of a series I took using all different combinations of extension tubes with my Canon 50 f1.8 lens. These are the smallest, and biggest of the set.
I have quite a lot of petrified wood, in blocks, chunks, slabs... This is one of the best looking slabs.
The spider I have previously posted on the true macro forum, since I think it qualifies. Not sure if everyone reads both groups, however, so I am putting it up here too. I found it lying in some spilt cat litter, and it was already dead, or else I would have had to do the honours. I have an arrangement with the king of the spiders - if I don't see 'em, I won't kill 'em!
