This is my buddy ready to rescue me and my buggy when we get stuck. It is fun being a 60 year old redneck. I know it is over cooked but I like it and what would you expect from a redneck I like my velvet Elvis too.

Now that's a good dog. Got the rope ready to pull you out. Can't ask for a better buddy than that.

while you're playing with the picture, you might want to warm up the eyes, i.e. add some yellow to the red. You'll get a better fiery evil eye. Do the same with the ears. Then you'll have a dog willing to go to he*l and back to save you. Just a thought.

I really like dogs and this one looks like it is totally bonded to its owner. The way you photographed your pooch highlights a beautiful coat and show a healthy, well cared for "buddy"

But, there are a couple of things that I don't like as much, the first is the red eyes - they might really be that red, but they kinda make your dog look like one of those scary posters for a Halloween movie, in other words, too unreal to match the rest of the style of your photo.

The second thing that doesn't work well for me is the visual conflict between the color and texture of your dogs coat and the color and texture of your background. If it were my photo, I would lighten the background by maybe 30% or so, and your beautiful dog would become the undisputed center of interest.

OK, that said, for me this dog shot would be close to perfect if you had included his feet.

Only a dog can look at its master with such obvious love and affection that so easy to see. Thanks for posting. Jon
