I wonder what you think of my treatment of an old colour photo I took in France about 15 years ago. I scanned it and then did a little dodging and burning as it was a bit flat. I added a sepia tone along with some noise to simulate grain.
I'll take a risk here and admit that I really like it and do in fact have a print of it on my wall.
I'd like like your honest opinion though. Don't worry, I'm not fragile.

I like the original much better.
The original actually has some interesting colors, especially on the canoe, I prefer it too.
Looks like a '55 or '56???

i actualy prefer the sepia because the origional colors are too subded and pale. the coral color option on caddys was much brighter and flashier, that's why the Big E loved them so much. they were his hunka hunka burning cars. the sepia makes it look like the shot was taken when the cae was new. anyway love the photo really love the car. Back when caddy's looked like no other cars on the road. these days they look like bmw's and mercedes all loke like older style ford taurauses.
Love the car and the caravan. The wife and i are keen caravanners and we see quite a lot of the old style stuff on the roads i the UK.Nice work on the old photos.I prefer number two it seems to suit that era.
Welcome to UHH. I like the original one the best.
How can so many people be so wrong. Only joking. Well I didn't expect that. I see a colour picture as a snap and a real photograph as black/brown and white, but it seems that I am in the minority - the story of my life there.
That was fun with an interesting (albeit completely wrong!!)result.
Hello to my new best mate angler who (1) Agrees with me. (2)Goes caravanning. (3)Probably likes fishing. I took a photo over Easter of a Morgan towing a van - I will post it for you.
Thanks all, that was good.
