The SEALS are switching from the Sig Sauer to the Glock - for many reasons.

Having owned both....I personal think the SEALS are way wrong in switching.

Then again, maybe there are more SEALS not doing anything now and can fix them new plastic pieces......

Interesting but I will stick with Sig or almost any American made toy, ya the 9mm is a toy if don't start with at least 40 I will not put my butt on the line for it. Too old fashioned maybe but 9mm have not proven to be that positive on stopping a threat.

Amazing that HK fired under water. I would have though the barrel filled with water would jump pressure to some degree. I don't think I'd have the gut's to try it.

my son recently got a Glock. Look's ugly to me but them when dependability matter, get's better looking. I seldom have an auto loader around, love the handgun's. Am thinking about a new pistol though as I finally broke down and got a CC. I doubt I'll ever need it.

Thanks Jerry. I like my Glock 43. I've been trying to find out if the sights on my 43 are adjustable by me, or if it's a job for a pro. Do you know?

I found the article about how far advanced the Russians are in this technology disturbing. But I'm not surprised.

The Glocks will fire underwater as well. They do change to a perforated type spring cups.

The standard Glock rear sights are best moved or replaced with a special tool. If the pistol is shooting too high or too low, different height rear sights are available or you can replace it with an adjustable type.

There are various sources on You-tube for more info.

Thank you. I've since watched some videos on Glock Sights. The one about the drop in the bucket was really good.
Another video says you can find the tool for 100.00USD.

Watch out buying tools. They made different tools to accommodate the different frames,as time went on there are some made that do all. Don't get stuck with one that doesn't do your particular model.

I may not need the tool anyway. I think it's more operator error than hardware. But, I think I'll still blame the gun.

Sounds like something for the next Bond movie.

Ol' Frank Loc: Orlando,

This is all very interesting news. However, since I have never had to use a gun seriously in over 50 years, I will just keep my beautiful 1911 and shoot once in awhile just to keep up.
