Thank you, Mike. I understand that the three upper Midwest states have snowys moving in from Canada. Is there a bird reporting website for your state called MNBIRDS? If so, you might be able to log on and find reported sightings close to you.

Beautiful shots of a beautiful bird. Duluth, MN and surrounding areas had an abundance of Snowies this year.

Some years yes. But not usually where I live. This is the rugged woods of Michigan. The farm country gets the Snowys.

I love these gorgeous birds! I had one fly right toward my windshield while driving in Baltimore (city) Maryland. It took a while to register what I was seeing. They are absolutely majestic in flight! Thank you.
