I like to use my photos for my 27" iMac desktop and screen saver but they usually show up on the desktop blurred. Does anyone know how to adjust photos put on the desktop so they look like they do while viewing them in Lightroom. I like to use the "fit screen" setting and I use photos cropped to 8x10 so I have a border for things I keep on my desktop.

The problem is being caused by the size the computer wants to use for your background and the size of the image you are using, which is probably smaller than what the computer wants to use.

Find out, from the images stored for wallpaper images, what size they are. Then make your overall image that size and save it in your background image folder. That should solve your issue.

I'm on a 27" iMac and use a few of my photos for the desk top pix. I save the finished pix as full sized pix and they look fine. I used a D610 (24 mp) and now a D810 (36 mp) and both at full size look ok on the screen.
