I have been hoping to see one with blue chelicerae and when i looked through the lens i got excited.
For diffusion, I cut 2 pieces of thick white paper about 4" strips and taped one around each light and cut a paper towel to fit over the end of each.

Great shots. All of these macros of insects and bugs make them look like big monsters.
