Craigs List, Mail recieved regarding posted item

I posted a Nikon D5100 kit on Craigsalist last night. I don't know if any of you have ever posted anything on Craigs list for sale or whatever, but these are two emails I received today. one at 9am and the other around 1pm..
Gee .. which one should I go meet ? or have come to my house .. LOL .. yea .. right .. No sign of possible scams here !! .. I should respond stating I want to meet in the lobby of the local Police department.

I can have a look at it this evening between 2:30-8:30pm . i am at work now as i work night shift but will be going home soon, since today is my off day and I can come around today to check it out anytime provide on Today . Could you possibly show it to me this evening? I can come when i leave work on my way home before i have some rest, or first thing tomorrow morning. Hi, I just viewed your ad posted. I can meet you any time to have a look at it today after 4:00pm or by Sunday anytime from 11:00am to 7:30pm. I work nights on Sunday at my shift starts at 9:00 pm to 8:00am. I can come by then to check it out anytime provide today before 7pm or anytime on Sunday. Could you possibly show it to me today? Let me know what time i can come to take a look it, i want to be sure it's still in good condition before i purchase it and i'm ready to pay

OS, one, craigslist protects your email by going through their server. So, you'll always get an email from XXX@craigslist.com. They will see similar.
Secondly, under no circumstances agree to meet at your house. NEVER do that. Always make arrangements to meet at a public place, like a restaurant with a well lit parking lot. And, you park as close to the front door as possible.

Craiglist does protect your e-mail address right up untill you respond to the e-mail you send in response .. yes they do sound like they are from the same individual .. NO way in hell I would ever respond to these .. or EVER have any one from Craiglist meet me at my house.. EVER !

I think a good meeting place for any cragslist sale is inside a local police station ;)

I've bought and sold on CRAIGSLIST many times. I prefer to meet them at a fast food restaurant or at the corner gas station. I bought my CANON used from a professional photographer, she had us meet at the local police community center. Watch out for the scammers who wont meet you in person or who say they will send payment via cheque or PayPal. I sold my NIKON via CRAIGSLIST, had several of those scammers from Nigeria try and fool me. My policy is Cash On The Barrel. Show me the cash and I'll show you the merchandise. If you have phone conversation with them before the exchange, you can get a good idea if they are legit or not. Most buyers/sellers are reputable.

I've sold many photographic items using Craigs List. I NEVER use my own email address or texts from my cell phones. I just respond to their question or comment using the Craigs List address. They are fishing for your email. Good luck.
