Email this morning gave the link to download a book to limit Windows 10 in its knowledge of your habits. The cost? Information on your habits to Trade Publications. Hmmm. am I missing something?

yes, don't buy a book on new software.... it will be out of date before you get it in the mail... There are many sources outlining the benefits and pitfalls of upgrading to Win 10... spend a little time on google.

ooops, it's an ebook, never mind... just check a few other sources

Ok, I just downloaded and skimmed the file... this is legit, current versions of Windows send data back to microsoft, which has allowed them to create Win 10 which is getting great reviews other than the privacy concerns. This article shows even the extreme privacy advocate how they can isolate their computer form microsoft.

thanks for the link. I am contemplating the upgrade myself on my win 8 laptop, however I have had a basic rule for 15 years to never upgrade a laptop operating system, because you cannot upgrade the hardware easily.
