Dandelion Glow

Haven't seen a dandelion picture for awhile. The dandelion was backlit with a mini-spot fitted with blue gel filters. Two non-gelled lights were placed on either sides. Tripod used, and no focus stacking. Minor post-processing in LR. Exposure was 0.4 sec @ f/29 and ISO 200.

Fantastic! Very eye-catching and creative.

Even more impressive that you did it with lighting - I figured a pp filter :)

Thanks! Of course, it was shot indoors. The hard part was getting the dandelion home without losing its fluff.

Thanks, Linda. You're right. I did use a couple filters in Color Efex Pro (Detail Extractor and Pro Contrast) to bring out the details. But, the lighting was done with tungsten lamps and blue gel filters.
