I have the kit lens E 55–210 mm F4.5-6.3 OSS. Would you please Please recommend a Telephoto Lens for Sony A-6000 for photographing wildlife.
Thank you.

At this point your best bet might be to track down a mount Minolta lenses with adapters. Many Minolta lenses can be had very reasonably, and with the addition of an lae4 adapter will maintain autofocus on your camera. Or you could get manual lenses such as the old Meyer and Aus Jenas. The 200 Meyer orestagon can be had for less than 100$ in excellent condition.

I agree. Sony E-mount zoom lenses seem expensive to me and are somewhat limited in variety. The earlier Sony digital cameras took Minolta A-mount lenses, which you can usually find in good supply at very reasonable prices. My favorite outlet for used lenses is KEH. (www.keh.com) With an appropriate adapter, it should work fine on your A-6000.

I had an a3000 on which I put a manual adapter for less than 20 dollars which even had aperture adjustment, and although it looked strange I enjoyed using that body (e mount) with both the minolta beercan (70-210) and a 75-300 sony. The pictures were great and the cost was very minimal.

I've bought both old legacy manual focus/manual everything and used them with adapters from eBay. They work fine but it find I'm the weak link.

My best setup is a Tamron 200-500mm mounted with the Sony LAEA2 adapter. This may be my best and sharpest lens setup but I do have to use a minimum of 1/800 shutter speed or a tripod. I'm still learning how to best use it.

I also have a Sigma 70-300mm that uses the same LAEA2 adapter and this is a very nice tele length.

Sure, you're using the equivalent of a 750mm lens at full tilt. I challenge anyone to hold that steady!!

The Sony offerings are sparse. I got the 18-200 and was happy with it, and I got rid of the kit lenses. But for longer lenses, you'll need to go to other vendors, like Minolta. Or use one of the adapters. I shot with my Sigma 400 as well as a Rokinon fisheye with the a6000. It worked pretty well with both.

As mentioned, Minolta a-mount lenses with adapter for AF is your best option - but NOT the cheapest or most available.

You could use a Kodak/Schneider Xenar 1.4X tele screwed on the front of the 55-210 - this will cost about $50 off ebay - I have one.

For manual focus you could use a Nikkor 300mm f4.5 ED IF AIS with an adapter - cost? - about $200 off ebay . I have one of these also.

OR - you could use the Sony in camera (JPEG only) 1.1-2X Clear Image Zoom with the 55-210 for 420mm ! ! .........
