Ok, this is the last of the current batch of stacked mineral samples. I took a bunch more yesterday, but it will take me a few days to get them processed.
A Glacial copper nugget - apparently these were formed by the glaciers passing over them during the last ice age

I've really enjoyed seeing your collection, Phil, and I look forward to some more. All of these need to be downloaded to see the detail, and I agree with Tom about the 3rd one. It's fascinating!

Although its not my hobby, I remember an awful lot of hours spent in past times digging thru peices of rock, some quite interesting, others not so much. I love these chrystals, they are beautiful and interesting to look at. Thanks for showing us. Nice that 'picture taking' isnt all we do.
