Our meet up group did a Christmas Light shoot last evening. I had seen this long exposure/zoom technique used but never attempted it until last evening. PP editing completed in Zoner 18. Hope you enjoy.

Zoomed in on one bulb in the cluster, used F5.6 and S4. Then zoomed out while the shutter was opened. What was explained by my mentor, "you must zoom out slowly while the shutter is opened". Hope this is a starting point for you. Enjoy the fun never ends! Jeff

I love doing this too. Don't usually PP, but one thing that's fun to try is giving the camera a little wave up and down while taking the shot makes a neat effect at the end of the exposure.
