Cooper's Hawk Cooling Off

I cleaned my dogs pool and put it away for the winter. It's been so warm I had to fill it back up because my Cooper's Hawk came back to cool off. He is letting me get closer to him.

Fantastic to know he's still around and that you're providing such a nice bathing area for him, Terri. I'd love to have this opportunity :)

Thank you Linda! He not only gets a bath here, he occasionally catches his lunch at the bird feeders. Terri

What a terrific opportunity. I wonder if he is a released pet. He seems so tame. Especially if he comes to a feeder. Not usual behavior for a wild raptor.
