Thank you for the nice comments. I'm not sure how close I was but I was using a 100-400 lens. I stayed by the trees. I know what moose can do to a person. I will never forget when a man was feeding a bear cookies and the bear attacked him. The bear had to be put down and the man only had to pay a fine of $500. The bear lost his life due to the mans stupidity. Terri

That stinks, we have several mountain lions I have never seen that live behind our house & I told my husband if one eats me while out taking pictures, please don't be mad at the lion! I know they have seen me, but I have yet to see one.... I want a photo really bad!
