Copyright infringement update

After sending the party a cease and desist notice thru her comment section( since i knew of no other way to contact her) has since disabled the
items with my Deer and Cat photo being used on them.

This is what comes up when clicking on the item.

I will give her a few more days and then approach her about total removal of my photo.

Congratulations! That's a big minor victory. I'm sure the image will soon be deleted.

Previously a search turned up about 60 different items with your image. Now there are only about 20...

That's pretty neat. Make a little easy money. First, copyright your photo with the government and then license it to these people who want to use it on products. Include a portion of gross sales for yourself, too, if you can. I've read that the Smithsonian does a lot of photo copyrighting.

Good for you, Marilyn. I wonder if the person using your photo really ever knew it was being used in that manner or was just hunting for a good easy image to sell and didn't care.
