Played With Sam....
Sam is a beautiful lilac point Siamese I adopted 7 years ago. The sad story is that he came from a hoarding house and to this day won't let me touch him... he loves the other 5 cats and Buster, so the only way I can play with him is on my pc....
This was another attempt with Topaz Texture Effects.
Nice effect,Angela. The flowers in the background really help to set him off.

Thanks Carlysue, still trying to decide to keep this program or not... I keep going to the same effect since I don't like the others!!
The colors in the background are from my Christmas cactus that has so many flowers on it, just wish they would last a bit longer than they do!
:D
There's a mystery and mood to this that's hard to describe, but I'm very drawn to it! Super work, Angela.
 That's a wall hanger Angela!
Beautiful portrait, Angela. You have a big heart.

Beautiful Job Angela, I've been off of UHH for a week but I will catch up on all your photos, this one is beautiful
A handsome boy. Siamese are tough. One person cats, and often will cold-shoulder anyone else but the beloved.
But if one loves you, you know you're a special person.
Nice shot, Angela.

Thank you so much Linda for your very kind comment, it means a lot to me!!! This was done with Topaz TE, and for this effect alone it makes me want to buy the program... otherwise I'm still up in the air!
:-D
...and I forgot to mention before, I love your new avatar, Trixie makes me smile whenever I see her adorable face!!!

Thanks so much John!! I volunteered at this no kill animal shelter for 8 years and probably would still be there, except along came my grandbaby and now I take care of him!! ....and also the reason at one time I had 7 cats, now 6 cats and 1 dog!!

Glad you enjoyed this Sylvia and the only way I can capture Sam is if he's perched on the back of my couch in my sunroom and he doesn't see me!! He's a sun worshiper (which I think all Siamese are) and we also have heated floors in there so the rest of the kitties are sprawled out like rugs!
:-D

Hi Jim!!! I've been MIA also for about a week also and am trying to catch up on the page and a half that I missed!!
Hoping you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family...
we did, only my daughter came over but cooking for three was still like cooking for an army, still recovering and then the Christmas decorating started!!!! Tree is up and decorated and the outdoors are lit!! ...forgot to mention, I cooked my 15 pound turkey in the nu-wave.... absolutely the best!!!!!!! ...and I've been cooking turkeys for a mighty long time!!
Glad you enjoyed this shot of my Sam and I so appreciate your 2 thumbs up!!
:-D

I accidentally deleted my original avatar. Glad you like Trixie! I'm slowly getting used to seeing her staring at me every time I comment :)
