Some numbskull is going to claim that their cousin's friend's former girlfriend's incarcerated father used to shine shoes for Secret Service agents, and he claims that the Secret Service took the fall for Obama in Columbia--that they were hiding the fact that it was Obama who saw the prostitute. The next thing you know it will be spread over the internet like a Texas wildfire and over the airwaves as the gospel truth by Rush and the other right wing talk show zealots . And we will have more "fair and balanced" reporting from Fox "News," which will ask "why won't the President respond to questions about it?" and claim that he must be hiding something.

Hi guys. I, as a native American was raised to hate the federal government. And never trust a damn thing said by any of them. Or the groups they're in bed with. Large corps. Oil co.'s and the like. They all lie, steal, and will step on the neck of any one or thing that gets in the way of their profit.
Corporate greed and political corruptness have ruined this country to the point of it all going in for a hard crash. And even after it does, the rich corporate people will still be setting on top of the heap. While the common folks are face down in the aftermath taking it in the ass like they always have.
Don't get me wrong, I love this country! and will defend it with my live. I am a Veitnam vet and have served my time in something I didn't quite agree with. But hey, I was called to serve. Young and dumb at the time I guess.
Anyway I guess I'll get down off my apple box before I say something someone takes issue with.
By the way, I never argue with people who might have a different view. I just figure there is varying degrees of blindness and if someone can't see the obvious, no amount of conversation will help.

I agree a hundred percent and it's a sad state of affairs. I listen to Limbaugh, Hannity and all the others, listening for a hint of what to do to get this country back on track. All I hear is how far off track it is.

Can you imagine the feeding frenzy if it was a republican who waited 9 hours to report an accident so he would be sober? Or how about Sen Robert "billion dollar" Byrd (famous for bringing a billion in pork to west virgina) being not only a member but an officer (kleagel) in the Klu Klux Klan. he is quoted as saying very racist things about integration of the military, yet no media firestorm, no punishment what so ever. trent lott makes a compliment about strom thurmond and loses his senate majority position. there is a huge double standard in the media except for fox news, democrats can get away with murder (in teds case literaly) republicans cant get a traffic ticket without being crucified on the Commie News Network!!!
