I have Paintshop Pro X6. I purchased it because it included Authentec Perfectly Clear. I asked Paintshop for instructions to batch process PC. Their instructions for creating a script don't work because when I reach the point to select from available editing choices Perfectly Clear is not an option. I emailed them a while ago for instructions which did work once. When I attempted it last week I had the original problem of not having PC as a script choice. I emailed them again & they told me they no longer support X6. Any help from Hogs????? Thanks!
Why not just upgrade to the latest version?
DNathan - use UHH's excellent Search Function (at the top of this page and search on "photo editors/editing software". There are a HUGE number of different programs available, ranging from "free" (a popular price) to fairly expensive. Take your pick. Many offer the option to download a trial copy that will give you a chance to experiment.
Thank you for your information. Perhaps someone will answer my question after Thanksgiving.
I have no need for the latest version of Paintshop. The only reason I bought it was for the Authentec Perfectly Clear. But thanks for your input.

dnathan,
Perfectly Clear is a plugin for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, and any photo editing application that uses the .8bf plugin extension.
Open an image and make sure it is an 8 bit image, then look under Effects > Plugins > Authentec > Perfectly Clear. Click the plugin to make sure it will work on your image. If all is well, go through the process of writing a Script with PSP auto script writing tool. Be sure to look in your Plugins folder for PC, and that your File Locations (PSP) point to the correct path to your plugins folder.
PSP X-6 came as a 64bit application, and usually installed in both 64bit and 32bit. Make sure your PC was written for 64bit, or try launching it in the 32bit PSP app.

You can't. Corel and Perfectly Clear had a falling out and neither company supports the other from X6 forward. I bought PC for Photoshop during this year (and you get it for LR while they're at it) but they clearly say that this version 2 will not work with Paintshop Pro.

Corel must have done something to become compatible with the newest PC then. Because here was an absolute lack of support for a long while.
