Alinsky is the gift that keeps on giving!! Reprising socialism in the backdrop of Obama, makes Alinsky look like Santa Claus! It took Repubs awhile to do their homework and get on the same page. Fool me once, etc.

I found this a rather confusing article. I realise it's Tea Party, and irrational. I think it is also inaccurate.

As they say, "sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Do you have any idea at all what socialism is?

I don't think so.

Obviously not, Obama is still president. We should also consider a little Cloward and Piven to go with our Alinsky this month.

This is what conservatives think Bernie wants.

Quote:
Social democracy is a political ideology that supports economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a capitalist economy, and a policy regime involving welfare state provisions, collective bargaining arrangements, regulation of the economy in the general interest, redistribution of income and wealth, and a commitment to representative democracy.
This is what Bernie actually wants.

Quote:
Oligarchy is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people might be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, religious or military control. Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who typically pass their influence from one generation to the next, but inheritance is not a necessary condition for the application of this term.
This is what we have today.

seriously... let's start with the Waltons...

"The Walton family, which owns Wal-Mart, controls a fortune equal to the wealth of the bottom 42 percent of Americans combined."

"They are followed by the Koch family: two of the four Koch brothers, Charles and David, are politically active and run conglomerate Koch Industries, the second largest private company in the country. Coming in third: the Mars family, owners of the world’s largest candy company, maker of M&Ms and Milky Way, share an estimated $80 billion fortune."

I love the Mars family! They sponsor Kyle Busch and Joe Gibbs in NASCAR and they won the championship this year.
