I used a beauty dish and a strip box with strobe for a bit of rim lighting. CC?

I like these images, the lighting is excellent and provides a lot of depth and mystery. Well done.
Both of these are excellent!
Here's a hint on number 1.
Trim the arms. Use the liquefy tool with a medium size brush to to thin the arms by pushing up slightly on the bottom of her right arm. Be sure and add liquify constraints to keep the top of the arm in tact. I often use this technique to add more symmetry to faces shrink noses slightly and crop ears. It should be done in such a way that the subject and viewer should not know.
Keep in mind this is not for the photographic purist.
I like the natural looking hand placement and poses especially in one. Adding hands to a portrait can be especially challenging. The expressions processing and hands seem to compliment each other well.
Expression in one is excellent and helps to form a great mood.
The rim light banding under her right arm could also be viewed as a lighting flaw, however i don't think it distracts much from the image.
Again well done!

Russ
