Pine Valley Covered Bridge was built in 1842 of white pine and hemlock found in the vicinity. It crosses Pine Run Creek. It cost $5,553.50 to build and was repaired in 1917. It is 81 feet long and is sometimes called the Iron Hill Bridge.

Fine shots..love the bridges!!
Another very nice bridge set. This park looks like a very nice place to hang out.
That's quite a tour you've taken us on Sue. I think in the whole stat of NC we only have 3 covered bridges ...... but then, we don't get as much snow as you folks up in PA.
It really is, Carol! I took so many pictures that I didn't post! There another bridge (not covered) and there was a couple walking a big dog who was scared to death to go over the bridge, but he finally did! I shot pictures of the whole process. There's a lake with another little bridge...so much more I shot, but this series is for covered bridges! Appreciate your looking and commenting, Carol!
Thanks for the thumbs up, John!
It was a lot of fun, Bob...something I always wanted to do. I just love covered bridges (can you tell? lol). Thanks for looking, Bob!

Interesting and enjoyable set Sue, that is one fancy bird feeder. :D
Thanks Sylvia! Yep, that's the biggest, fanciest bird feeder I've ever seen! Just couldn't resist shooting it, even though it isn't a good shot.
Another fun series, Sue. Loved the stump chairs, lol!
Thanks Randy! That table and chairs are unique, aren't they?? Wonder who made them and when??
