Meteors and mushrooms

Caught a few Leonid meteors , this one left a smoke trail that was visible in several subsequent 25 sec exposures .. I saw a giant slow moving fireball ( thought it was a helicopter at first!) just before I had camera set up :? Total of 740 exposures, kinda disappointed , thought there would be more meteors, oh well next I'll try again

Very well done. What time did you shoot?
I think I missed the sweet spot. I ran out of battery at 3:30 and was snug in bed when it did.

Thanks very much Jim ,, This shot was at about 9:45 PM , I went back and looked and I wound up with 909 exposures from 9 pm to 3 am before batteries died. (only 4 or 5 meteors) I use a Camranger linked through iPad to control intervalometer and exposure settings, so after the initial setup and taping a hand warmer on barrel of lens I go to bed !! :-) :-)

Beautiful!
Out piddling at the puddle again...

I thought with that title you ate some mushrooms and got some psychedelic pictures. ;)

(I grew up in the '60's... The first LP I owned was Jimmy Hendrix)

You got more than I did.. I did the same thing. Set the intervalometer, point and double check the shot.
Off to bed. Mine ran out at 3:30 and not one meteor.
You must be out North behind the hill? I just noticed the Milky Way in your shot.
